Remetee is a premium lifestyle brand with flawless mixtures of art, culture, music and fashion. Each garment is viewed as a blank slate to express a mixture of diverse LA cultures and influences. These influences, originating from the graffiti lines streets and gritty tattoo parlors lining LA's coast, infuse luxury LA culture through fit, fabric and art to create true "California Couture." Originated by one of the founders of Affliction clothing, the line has the street cred and edge that will bring it to the forefront of fashion. New in concept but backed by the brains that built one of the most influential and successful brands in men's fashion, Remetee emerges with fanfare from the streets of Los Angeles. Another key player behind the line is Major League Baseball Left Fielder Ryan Braun. Los Angeles born Braun, plays for the Milwaukee Brewers and won all five Rookie of the Year Awards in 2007.
Bright colors and embellished accents speak of a history of kings and caballeros, warriors and priestesses, edifying legends extolled with dramatic symbolism. Birds, animals, celestial scenes of lightening, smoke and stars are all presented to glorify the beauty found in the multiple layers of a culture's fabric.
The Remetee collection displays rich symbols of past and present, good and evil, grit and glam recreated in a pageantry of fashion. Emblems of war, peace, love and myth, are woven into the wearable translation of an unfolding story.
Each design is created by a team of artists, and is a unique work of art. The garments are hand-distressed and softened with various wash techniques. The graphics are screen printed using eco-friendly water-based inks which yield a no-hand feel and add to the vintage look.
